We get paid when the bot does, and not before
A trading tool can charge you in two ways: a flat fee for having it, or a share of what it earns. We use the second one, and Profit Points are how it is counted.
When a bot starts, its cost comes from the target profit – one Profit Point per 50 USDT of it. When it finishes, the cost is recalculated from the profit actually closed. Earned less than planned, you pay less. Closed at a loss or zero profit, you pay nothing. The final cost never exceeds the one quoted at the start.

💡 Good to know
If the target profit you choose when starting the bot is under 50 USDT, the starting cost rounds down to zero, and the final cost cannot exceed it. So that bot runs for free.
