How to create Bybit subaccount - Knowledge base

️ Profitage bots work only with Standard Accounts

By default, Bybit creates you a Unified Trading Account (UTA). To get a Standard Account and use it with Profitage, you can create a subaccount of this type.

1. Log into Bybit and go to Subaccount section

2. Click Create Subaccount

3. Choose Standard Subaccount

4. Choose Standard Account

5. Enter a name for your subaccount (for example: ProfitageSub)

6. Click Confirm

Security verification

1. Click Send Verification Code to request an email with verification code

2. Enter the verification code you get to your email address

3. Enter the authentication code from your Google Authenticator app

Add Two-factor Authentication (2FA) for subaccount

1. In the Subaccount section, click Switch

2. Under Advanced Protection, find Google Two-Factor Authentication and click Settings next to it

3. Click Send Verification Code to request an email with verification code

4. Enter the verification code you get to your email address

5. Using Google Authenticator app, scan the QR code or copy-paste the 16-digit code from Bybit

6. Enter the authentication code created by your Google Authenticator app to Bybit and click Confirm

Congratulations! You have successfully created a Bybit subaccount 🎉

Now you can create API Key for subaccount
